If someone would have told me on my fortieth anniversary as a dermatologist that I would be starting a new business with my two wonderful kids instead of spending my days at the golf course on Fisher Island and with my beautiful wife Pamela, I would have diagnosed them as crazy.

I can’t tell you how much I enjoy working with my son Robert, a former investment banker who’s now our CEO and my daughter Lisa, a former museum educator and fine artist, who’s now our VP of marketing. Goldfaden really is a family story, from the discovery of red tea as our signature ingredient because of my mother-in-law to now spending my days working with my family to bring our dream to you. In an age where corporations and chemically based beauty treatments rule, it fills me with pride to not only work with the people I value most in the world, but to bring you a product that’s filled with that same love.
